basic BOTOX user and trainer.
Botox ® is a botulinum A toxin
designed to help eliminate or improve
persistent facial wrinkles. This
non-surgical procedure commonly
treats areas like frown lines between
the eyebrows (worry lines), "crow's
feet" (lines around the eyes),
horizontal creases on the forehead,
bunny lines around the nose through
a number of tiny needle injections.

The
cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, often referred
to by its product name Botox®, is a popular
non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces
or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases,
crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in
the neck. The toxin blocks the nerve impulses,
temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause
wrinkles while giving the skin a smoother, more
refreshed appearance. Studies have also suggested
that Botox is effective in relieving migraine
headaches, excessive sweating and muscle spasms
in the neck and eyes.
Botox
® is a botulinum A toxin is also designed
to help eliminate platysmal neck bands (turkey
globular neck), vertical and horizontal neck
lines, popply chin, mental crease, to lift
the angle of the mouths, eliminate lip lines,
for jaw shaping and facial contouring, for
eyebrow lifting (flared eyebrow), to increase
eye aperture, lift tip of nose, flared nostrils,
cheek lift, etc.
Botox is also used to reduce sweating (axillary,
palmar, sole, facial).
Mesobotox or Microbotox is also used for face
tightening, reduce sweating, reduce pores,
tighten the skin, Non-surgical face lifting,
jowl reduction, etc.
Length
About 10 minutes.
Side Effects
Depending on where Botox ® is injected,
side effects may include headache, droopy eyelids,
and nausea. Temporary bruising on the injection
site is also common. Facial pain, redness at
the injection site, and muscle weakness are
less frequent reactions.
Recovery
Immediate. No down time
Risks
Small risk of allergic reaction.
Results
The effects of Botox ® injections will appear
within 7 days, and may last up to 6 months.
Patient Status
Outpatient : Usually in the surgeon's office.
It is a lunch time procedure.
