HOW ARM REDUCTION IS PERFORMED?

During the surgery, Dr. Viral Desai will make cuts on the inner and under surfaces of your arm, sometimes from the armpit to as low as the elbow. Excess skin and fat are removed and the remaining skin is stretched and stitched back together. The operation generally results in slimmer, smoother upper arms.

However, there will be visible scarring that may extend from the armpit to the elbow. Dr.Viral will discuss this with you prior to your operation.
